Well, here it is, the very next morning.....I didn't think Deer kept a watch w/them, but obviously, they are either very prompt or very hungry! At 5:00 a.m. they were in "Grandma's" back yard! "YEA"! Now I can really see them! First comes Mama Deer, around the West side of the house. She stops at my big 'Racoon Tree' (with the Racoon face that Bryton gave me). Oh my goodnes....she stops to fertilize my lawn! Then she meanders down to the Apple trees. Next comes the little fawn, he must only be a year old, he is very little, but w/enormous ears! And, just like Mama, he stops in the same spot, and also fertilizes my lawn! Then comes the 3rd little fawn, maybe these are a different little family, for this little fawn is also very tiny, they look like twins! But he just heads down to where Mama is, by the apple tree! But wait....what is that furry little mound hustling up to the baby Deer, by my deck? OH NO! It's that pesky little RACOON again! He hustles right up to the Baby Deer, and does his little jumpey dance. But Baby Deer, just turns his head, as if to say, 'Get lost, the Walnuts are in that yard! So, the pesky little Masked Bandit turns around and hustles back to Taylors yard!
I have to chuckle, for now Mama Deer has discovered GG's big covered bird feeder! I had filled all the feeders full yesterday after work. But Mama has soon cleaned it out! With all that bird feed, she may start to twitter! And Tyler, Mandy Smith's husband said there is a buck that shows up about 7:00 in the mornings! Les Moss, who lives in Ruby Warnicks home, said the buck was right outside their back door the other morning. It is so fun having a herd live right here in the middle of Pleasant Grove!!
I turn to look at the clock, and uh oh, I only have 20 minutes to get to work! I better get busy.
Well, that was fun! Thanks Heavenly Father for these delightful little creatures to brighten my day!!

How fun! Sounds like our little raccoon friend has met his match. Now all you need is a mountain lion or a pesky coyote and you will have a wildlife refuge thing going on. I didn't know they liked bird seed???
Hopefully you'll get a picture.
I can't believe two days in a row! That is awesome. That raccoon is hilarious! Pretty brave though to stand up to all those deer!
