went undefeated this year. AWESOME!!! Grandma Tingey was so excited to be able to attend this last championship game! And it was exciting! Even though it didn't end with the "Big W", they played their hearts out, and should be very proud of their winning season.

With 4 minutes and 10 seconds left in the first quarter, they were tied at 8 each. Tension!!!

Here is Colton, (in front of the ref) ready for the handoff.....Colton is extremly fast!
Colton running down one of the Manti players.
And in the bleachers, cheering for his 'big brother" is little Morgan, Coltons look-a-like!
This is half time--the Dance Team put on a scarey routine to the music of "Thriller". The little kids loved their monster outfits!
A quiet moment for Colton, before all the action.....the weather was perfect for the playoff game.Last week, in the Semi-Final game in Manti, they played in the cold, pouring rain! But their win
helped warm them up!
The Huddle.......(Colton #14, in the middle)
This is a snapshot of the visitors bleachers, as they start to arrive. Millard has a great stadium!
The Millard Eagles had just scored their first Touch Down here. And they were excited! The ref's called back two previous touch downs....frustrating!
Here they just ran in the 2 point conversion! Score tied, 8 to 8......
The end of game....disappointing for the Eagles, they lost by 4 points, in the last few minutes. They were so pumped up, and the smell of Victory was in the air. But the important thing is,
they lost with real class...being good sports is something to be proud of!
Here the announcer is congratulating each member of the team. Calling out their names and positions played.
With 6 minutes and 17 seconds left in the game, Millard was ahead by 2 points.
And very fitting, Coltons two biggest fans!! MOM AND DAD! They are so proud of him, and all he has accomplished this year! They have been to every game, rain or shine, and enjoyed every minute of it too! The parents hearts hurt for their son, they know how much this meant for him...Be proud Colton! You played hard, made your community proud!
And of course, the great "cheering section"! There was Mom and Dad, Aunt Kim, Uncle Paul, Grandma T, Mitch, Jayden, Hallie and little morgan! "YEA CONTON!!!!"

That was a fun game, it was sad that they lost such a close game. Their high school team next year will be awesome! Glad you came down!!!
Good job Colton! Remember, even the best players and teams have to eventually lose. Take BYU for example, they have the BEST players and they are the BEST team and, yes, they eventually had to lose! HA HA HA!!I look forward to seeing Colton playing either for BYU or with UTAH in the big game!! TYLER (the BEST uncle!!)
